No, this is NOT an elephant toilet!

I just had a messy shoe closet.

I bought nice and sturdy oak plywood and cut out a shelve. The shape is funny, but that’s due to the floor crawlspace door – I want it to be accessible.

But after cutting it out, the plywood become less sturdy than I expected. I had to build a support.

I use these nuts when I need to attach plywood to something without drilling it through. I used them before to restore ping-pong table. They did a good job this time too.

Here it is, installed

And the mess is gone!

And I still can access the crawlspace:
